This year, I was extremely lucky and essentially had 2 Valentines Day’s. On the 13th of February, my boyfriend and I went to London for a day out and an evening meal, firstly we went to Westfield White City – my utmost favourite place to shop. Admittedly we left slightly later than intended, so we unfortunately had very little time to shop. We then went to Eight Club in Moorgate for an incredible 9 course meal.
Because we were going shopping and also going to an upmarket restaurant, I went towards the slightly more dressy but practical look. I styled a frilly blouse with high waisted skinny black jeans, I wore my buckled H and M heeled boots due to the comfort and versatility of the shoe – they look incredible with pretty much anything. Lastly, my favourite part of the outfit was my Alexander Mcqueen ‘Electrorabbit’ Clutch bag- although this is a black bag, the detail is fascinating and can make any outfit look incredible. This outfit was super comfy and I’m so glad I chose to wear shoes that didn’t make me hobble, or worse so, make me want to come home.
On Valentine’s Day itself, my boyfriend and I went to The Abbot’s Elm – we had a lovely three course dinner. There were no photos of my outfit itself, however in short I paired a stripey bodycon Missguided dress along with a mauve faux fur coat and my black buckled H and M chunky heels. My boyfriend wore a white Guess shirt, with a black cotton River Island jumper over the top. He paired this with grey trousers from Topman and dark brown Versace loafers.
