Transitional pieces

We’ve officially hit that time of the year, when you wake up absolutely freezing, pull out a jumper and a coat and end up sweating by the afternoon.

This is one of my favourite times of the year; although the weather can be erratic and transient, it’s the time of the year where we can start dressing in Autumnal fits.

I literally live for Autumn and Winter; don’t get me wrong, I’m a sucker for the summer sun and I would love to holiday at least 10 times a year, but Autumn and Winter are the best in terms of fashion.

Layering, buying new coats, scarves, hats and gloves are all just a massive part of the excitement in the upcoming months.

Although it’s getting colder, it’s still not cold enough in London to whip out an Autumn coat (today it’s 17 degrees!)

This is the time of the year where I need to wear thinner jackets; this co ord was perfect for that. This jacket didn’t really keep me warm in the evening, but it was perfect for the day time, so I can’t complain.

This co-ordinate set could be worn in the summer or the winter; it could be styled with heels and no tights for evening plans, if you wanted to look like a metropolitan diva.

When’s your favourite season in terms of fashion?

Thanks for reading!
